Netball
Netball is fast, fun, develops co-ordination and it's a game that everyone can play.
A popular sport in countries such as Australia, NZ, England & South Africa and more and more Irish have taken to the game of Netball.
Traditional netball is a 7-a-side game. The netball court is divided into 3 sections and each player takes up one of seven positions GS, GA, WA, C, WD, GD and GK. Every position determines where a player is permitted to move on the court.

The aim is to score as many goals as possible within the area called the Goal Circle. Only the GS and GA players may score goals.
Games are 40 minutes to 1 hour in length (depending on the number of teams).
Note: Teams are sometimes required to provide an umpire at odd times during the season. Umpiring experience is essential to building an individual's netball knowledge and helps develop the game in Ireland. This also allows us to organize a successful netball league for you.
